How do i set up my research paper?

Ok first of all my topic is the rise and fall of the Ottoman Empire. My these is "The Ottoman Empire was the most powerful empire in the world during the 16th and 17th century." My paper is suppost 2 be 4 pages long, so i was thinking about 2-3 pages for the rise and 1-2 pages for the fall. My question is how should i start and end each paragraph so that its organized and related back to my thesis?

Reply:Each para should be one contained argument. Start each para with a main idea and then follow up with your evidence. Ideally you should have 3 examples to prove your point in each paragraph.
