Current Geneder Roles in the Family v.s. Traditional Gender Roles


- observe how many and women behave in public today towards their spouses, significant others, and children


- send out a survey that includes demographic info such as age, race, location, marital status, etc...


- ask your surveyed population to define the roles of men and women in the family


- ask how if they feel these roles have changed over the last 50 years and how


- who regulates discip[line? mom or dad?


- who is involved in the childs schooling, mom, dad, or both?


- who does the majority of the household work?


- do both parents work outside the home?


etc.....





Views on Controversial Issues such as abortion and sSame-Sex marriage in Rural v.s. Urban settings


-again collect the demographic information, including whether they live in a rural, suburban, or urban area


- list controversial issues using a likaart scale (strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, strongly disagree)
