Well, im writing a research paper on Galileo Galeilei and his contributions to the modern world including the views of the catholic church and the heliocentric universe versus the geocentric universe, its due friday and all i have done are my souce citations. HELP!
How Do I Start To Write A Research Paper??
You have plenty of time, Imagine this-- From right now I'm going to write a 4-6 page essay from scratch (All I have with me are sources) and its due tommorow. I still have enough time so you have PLENTY of time.
Okay good you have your source citations now you need to turn it into an essay
1) Intro- Explain what your going to talk about.
2) Talk about something
3) Talk about something else
4) Same
5) Conclusion Wrap it up (re-word the intro to conclue the whole thing)

then for your intro, start with a broad topic, like science or whatever, and narrow down to galileo and his contributions, and your thesis.
sorry if you meant more specific stuff, but i know nothing about galileo
Reply:I'd start by taking a stance on the topic, like giving your opinion saying that the catholic church was just protecting it's interests or that Galileo was totally mistreated. THEN you can organize your sources and such to work for your argument. You have to remember to add some opposing viewpoints in your essay and then refute them to make your paper better. Good luck.
