Help me write a good hook for the beginning of my literary criticism research paper?

This is the first sentence of my paper, not my thesis sentence. I am having trouble telling the two apart. My paper is on John Grisham's book The Client. The first 1/4 is a bio on him, and the last 3/4 is literary criticism. Please help me write a hook

Help me write a good hook for the beginning of my literary criticism research paper?
Probably one of the most intriguing authors to ever pen a novel, John Grisham combines personal experience as an attorney with some of the most thrilling twists and controversial subjects to keep readers turning pages nonstop.





hope this helps....i LOVE grisham...i have and have read every book he has written and the gingerbread man which was written for screen only on disc.


by the way i dont know if you ever saw the movie the client but that kid that played mark sway committed suicide...ironic isnt it that his first movie he plays a character in which he witnesses a suicide attempt?...please dont criticize too harshly...your paper is one i would like to read
