im working on a research paper on alternate forms of energy that would be less of a pollutant on the environment. the research has to be "academic in nature" so it has to come from an academic journal or a magazine like time or newsweek. all the academic journals im finding online you have to sign up for a subscription for. does anyone know any free academic journals that i can use? or maybe some other academic source related to my topic?

Sometimes through your school's library you can have free access to journals that usually require a subscription. If you go to your school's library's website they might have some information if they offer this service. Also some public have this service also if you search and print off the articles at the library itself.
