Im supposed to be doing an investigation on a topic in history it can range from prehistory to the present, im stuck of what to do. i have an idea, How religion influenced the rise of civilization. however my professor mentioned that the topic was too broad. and at the moment i cant seem to find any useful information on the topic and how to narrow it down. SO if anyone has any great ideas for a paper, please let me know or any suggestions to for the topic which i mention that will be great also.
Whats a good research paper topic for a upper divison college course in history?
Yeah, that one is waay too broad. Actually, you can still do that topic, but you've got to narrow it down. You could do something like How did the rise of Christianity change the empire of Rome as an example. You've got to pick a certain time period and a certain group, so that way you can actually get a good, specific paper.
