Reply:On Oprah Winfrey today, there was a judge who gave strange sentences to people. Like, for a woman who abandoned 30 kittens in the woods in the winter, she was sentenced to spend all night in the woodsalone ( probably nt in the winter.)





A social worker was arguing that his odd sentences were bad, if they caused humiliation, because that jsut made the people become more likely to become more criminal, more discontent in their society.





I think a paper on when odd sentences are beneficial, when they are harmful, and in what conditions you just can't tell would be an interesting subject to research.
Reply:When a person goes to the doctor they look so sick, but when the doctor tells them they are fine, they come out smiling. You are what you hear.





p.s. A doctor tells a person they have cancer, then they start to die.When they thought they were fine, they were working and laughing. It is all in the brain.
