What is a research paper topic I could do over film for my English 1304 class that doesn't include violence?

I am currently searching for a research paper topic (argumentative, not just informative) I can do in my English 1304 class. I prefer it be over film, since I am majoring in that area, however my teacher has made it clear that the argument over if violence should be allowed in movies or television is not allowed. Does anyone have any other ideas of what I could do?

How about how films need to do better research in order to get the correct history when making a film. exp. I was watching a western and as the riders rode into town it said the name of the town and when it was started. Well it was so wrong and it was upsetting enough to change channels lol I mean if they aren't going to do their homework then why should I watch?

You could do History versa Films. Or Hollywood an History.

How about American English and English English. When watching a BBC movie their English is way different than ours. BTW I love British films.

Another one: The true American Indians not the ones in Films.

How films were untrue to the American Indians.

Well hope I got your brain running overtime lol

Good luck and just have fun with it.

Reply:1-Low quality writing on scripts today.

2-Clasic movies used to make bad crapy remakes ("Charade"(1963) remade as "The Truth About Charlie" (2002) ; "Rollerball" (1975) ramade "Rollerball" (2002) and others)

3-When big studios like Disney claim ownership of material that are on the Public Domain.
Reply:hidden advertisements that are in movies
