How to document facts in research paper.?

My professor assigned a research paper and asked for the references to be documented in MLA. How do I cite a reference that I used for facts - for example I used dates but no quotes?

How to document facts in research paper.?
exact same way

whether it's a direct quote or a paraphrase, you need to cite ANYTHING that is not common knowledge or your own idea
Reply:You reference to it in the body of your work whenever you quote the work directly, or indirectly use the info it provides in a form like the following (Jones, p.21) If you reference it frequently you can just name pages (p.30) until your source switches (Wikipedia).

At the end, you will want a bibiliography/Works Cited page, written in MLA format. Hopefully you know how to do this already, if not there are guides on line how to do it, or books on MLA style at your local bookstore.

Or if you want to be really lazy about it, go to bibme.com and type in your sources, and it'll create a works cited page for you.
Reply:i have a great site that put togther your MLA for you. its very helpful and if you are missing some info that is ok, not all websites or sources give you all the info.

Go to easybib.com

i hope this helps, it got me through all my assignments!
