How do i narrow my topic of my research paper?

My research paper is to be done on fashion. I want to do somthing about fashion trends coming in and out of style where do i begin?? i never even heard of a research paper before my teacher assigned it! Help! please!

How do i narrow my topic of my research paper?
You narrow your topic by picking something specific. For example you could write about bathing suits worn in the 1930's as opposed to bikinis worn today. When you are more specific with your topic, the paper will practically write itself!





Write an outline. For example, something similar to the following:





A. Bathing Suits in the 1930's


1. Popular designers who


influenced trends


2. The most popular style


B. Emerging Fashion Trends in


Bathing Suits


1. New York influence


2. Paris influence


C. Bikinis in 2007





Include some exhibits. People like pictures!





Get the idea! Good. Once you have an outline,, write without editing yourself, because you will edit later, after you have a few drafts.





Remember. 'if you can talk' you can write.'

Reply:when you write a research paper, you make sure that you know with your topic you could find a lot of resources. the more specific it is the better so the reader could understand it better. you should do comparison of the fashion trend coming in and the one coming out. make like 3 points and start writing...
