If a highschol sophmore girl has to wright a research paper on war, what would be an interesting topic?

i need to write a research paper that has to do something with war and i wanted to focus on wemon in the wars but needed a unique topic that was not as large. I need a cool topic that will not put me to sleep.

How about the women who ferried fighter planes during world war two or those who served as nurses and medics on the front lines in most of the wars fought in the last two centuries I know the nurse thing might not be the most politically correct subject but just the same these people served with pride and courage there are lots of good stories about them out there
